Storm Roofing are fully committed to ensuring the Health, Safety & Welfare of all employees, customers and members of the public who may be affected, in any way, by our work.

We strive to maintain the highest standards of health and safety performance within the industry. Our commitment includes the provision of any required resources relating to health and safety in the work environment. 

Health and safety management is a fundamental all our planning and work execution, ensuring employees, customers and members of the public the centre of everything we do.

Our health and safety policy is reviewed on an annual basis and updated to keep it in line with any changes in government policy guidelines.  To ensure legal compliance, we have developed and implemented an integrated health and safety compliance system with (BS OHSAS – TBC)

 

Storm Group Environmental Policy

The Strom Group recognises that in conducting work for our clients, some of our activities may have an adverse impact on the environment, but we are committed to reducing that impact by seeking continual improvement of our environmental performance. We will ensure that all employees understand how our business may affect the environment and what is expected of them in their day-to-day work to help minimise this impact.

Specifically we aim to,

  • Conduct our operations to ensure compliance with all relevant environmental legislation.
  • Make efficient use of resources, reuse rather than dispose, and whenever practicable will select materials from suppliers who obtain products from renewable sources.
  • Encourage the economic use of energy in the form of heating and lighting.
  • Prevent land and ground water contamination by implementing controls for 
the storage/use of products and materials.
  • Reduce wherever practicable the level of carbon dioxide emissions by avoiding unnecessary travel and using modern, well maintained transport that is fuel efficient.
  • Minimise the impact of our works on the public by adopting work practices that suppress noise, dust, light and any other disturbance or disruption.
  • Responsibility for the Environmental Policy lies with the Storm Group Board of Directors. The Environmental Policy will be brought to the attention of all employees and will be renewed annually to assess its effectiveness, compliance with environmental law and that if reflects the changing needs and circumstances.
